Who fancies an autumn week in Spain? The rock’s warm, the beer’s cold and the pool has had eight months to warm up. If you fancy a week sport climbing, via ferratas and hiking in a T shirt in October, this is the trip for you! El Chorro has dozens of crags with thousands of routes and RoCs has a copy of the Rockfax guidebook. We’ll explore several areas, probably including some long (30m+) and multi-pitch routes. Eleven of us went in 2023 and had a brilliant time!

Ive booked a house with a pool for the nine of us who’ve signed up; there’s still room for one or two more or you could stay nearby and join us to climb, which is what Jamie’s doing. Hannah has generously volunteered her excellent culinary skills again to cater for us in style, but everyone is expected to help with kitchen chores. Most of us are flying Ryanair from Bournemouth and some from other airports.

The cost should be about £300 plus flights and insurance. If you want to go, get in touch with me directly and let me have your deposit of £150.
